SANTO DOMINGO (DA) — Curaçao’s Yaqil Alberto and Ziva King won the bronze medal Friday in the mixed duet free final at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.
Alberto and King scored 142.8434 points at the Juan Pablo Duarte Aquatic Center. Their routine received 39.3434 points for elements and 103.5000 for artistic impression.
Colombia’s Gustavo Sánchez and Emily Minante captured gold with 251.2784 points. Mexico’s Diego Villalobos and Joana Jimenez earned silver with 227.9667.
Cuba finished fourth with 129.2817 points, followed by Guatemala with 120.1525 and the Dominican Republic with 93.8166.
The result gave Alberto his second bronze medal in as many days after he placed third in the men’s solo free final Thursday.
