SANTO DOMINGO (DA) — Curaçao’s Yaqil Alberto won the bronze medal Thursday in the men’s solo free final at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.
Alberto earned 125.2275 points at the Juan Pablo Duarte Aquatic Center. His routine received 29.4775 points for elements and 95.7500 for artistic impression.
Colombia’s Gustavo Sánchez captured gold with 243.6738 points. Mexico’s Diego Villalobos took silver with 241.3650, finishing 2.3088 points behind Sánchez.
Guatemala’s Kevin García placed fourth with 122.9025 points, while Cuba’s José Carlos Borges finished fifth with 107.4713.
