WILLEMSTAD (DA) — Curaçao will host the CAZOVA Final Four international volleyball tournament July 18, with Curaçao, Trinidad and Tobago, Bahamas and Barbados set to compete for the 2026 CAZOVA title.
The tournament will be organized by FEVOKO and will open with Barbados against Trinidad and Tobago at 5 p.m. The official opening ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m., followed by Curaçao against Bahamas.
Curaçao enters the event as the reigning 2025 champion. Last year, Curaçao defeated Bahamas in an emotional match to win the Caribbean title, earning the opportunity to compete in the NORCECA championship in Canada in September.
The Curaçao technical staff is led by head coach Henrich Daal, with Remy Janga serving as assistant coach. Rigo Thode, Gilbert and Dre Paulina are also part of the staff.
The national selection includes six players competing in the Dutch Eredivisie and six players from the local championship.
The players coming from the Netherlands are captain Raygid Isenia, Derwin Colina, Marlison Kleinmoedig, Ludrich Inocnte, Shuruendy Valeriano and Ninomar Fairbairn.
The Curaçao-based players are Jason Kleinmoedig, Sirviano Clemensia, Raynold Marchena, Giandro Tokaay, Ernaldo Mora and Timothy van Henneigen.
