Drag Racing Association Curaçao recognized as FDOK member

WILLEMSTAD (DA) — The Drag Racing Association Curaçao (DRAC) has been officially recognized as a member of the Curaçao Sports and Olympic Federation (FDOK), giving the sport a national governing organization on the island.

FDOK announced that DRAC was accepted Tuesday night, June 30, during the federation’s annual general meeting.

With the recognition, DRAC becomes the official national organization responsible for drag racing in Curaçao. FDOK said the step is expected to support the continued development of the sport.

The recognition comes as drag racing marks 50 years in Curaçao.

FDOK congratulated DRAC on the milestone and said it looks forward to a lasting collaboration to further develop and strengthen the sport.
