CAP CANA (DA) — Jean-Julien Rojer and Marcelo Melo were knocked out in the doubles semifinals at Copa Cap Cana on Saturday, falling 6-1, 5-7, 10-5 to Romain Arneodo and Marcelo Demoliner.
Rojer and Melo dropped the opening set, forced a decider by taking the second, but could not complete the comeback at the ATP Challenger 175 event in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic.
The loss ended their run one win short of the doubles final.
Rojer and Melo had reached the semifinals after a quarterfinal victory on Friday.
