CAP CANA (DA) — Jean-Julien Rojer and Marcelo Melo advanced Thursday to the quarterfinals of the Copa Cap Cana doubles draw with a 7-5, 7-5 win over Arthur Reymond and Luca Sanchez in the round of 16.
Playing on Court 1 at the ATP Challenger 175 event in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, Rojer and Melo came through a demanding opening test without dropping a set.
The match stayed close throughout, but Rojer and Melo handled the key moments better in each set to keep their run going.
The singles and doubles quarterfinals are scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Estadio Cap Cana and across all courts.
