WILLEMSTAD (DA) — Ronaldinho will join the Brazilian team at the Legends Football Tournament Curaçao 2026, adding one of the sport’s most recognizable names to the fourth edition of the event on April 9 and 10 at Capital Ç.
The former World Cup champion and Ballon d’Or winner gives the tournament its biggest draw yet as the event expands from six to eight participating nations. Spain and Italy are joining Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Portugal, the Netherlands and host Curaçao in the 2026 tournament.
Matches will be played in a 2 x 15-minute format across two evenings, with former international stars representing their countries in a fast-paced showcase.
Ronaldinho’s addition completes a Brazilian squad that also includes Rivaldo and Lúcio. Other notable names in the tournament include Carlos “El Pibe” Valderrama and Faustino Asprilla for Colombia, Ariel Ortega and Rolando Schiavi for Argentina, Wesley Sneijder and Clarence Seedorf for the Netherlands, and Ricardo Quaresma and Vítor Baía for Portugal.
Spain will be represented by Fernando Morientes and Michel Salgado, while Italy brings Marco Materazzi and Alessandro Nesta. Curaçao’s roster includes Stallone Isenia, Ranties “Terry” Rosina and Ludjino “Jin” Hojer.
The 2026 edition is being presented by Curaçao Airport Holding in collaboration with the Curaçao Tourist Board. Curaçao Airport Partners also collaborated with CAH in bringing Ronaldinho to the event.
Ticket prices are listed at XCG 75 per evening for adults and XCG 50 per day for children up to age 15. Combo tickets are priced at XCG 125 for adults and XCG 80 for children, while VIP access costs XCG 250 per day or XCG 475 for a combo pass.
