FFK confirms Curaçao will host Aruba on June 6 in final World Cup warmup

WILLEMSTAD (DA) — Curaçao’s men’s national soccer team will close its 2026 FIFA World Cup preparation with a home friendly against Aruba on June 6 at Stadion Ergilio Hato in Curaçao, the Curaçao Football Federation (FFK) confirmed today during the introduction of new head coach Fred Rutten.

The Aruba match was confirmed as Curaçao’s final friendly before the World Cup.

Later this month, Curaçao will initiate its World Cup preparation with the FIFA Series in Australia, where the team is set to face China and Australia.

Curaçao will play China on Friday, March 27 at Accor Stadium in Sydney, with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m. Australia time. In Curaçao, the match will also be played on Friday, March 27, starting at 2 a.m. Curaçao time.

The second FIFA Series match will be Australia vs. Curaçao on Tuesday, March 31 at AAMI Park in Melbourne, with kickoff scheduled for 8:10 p.m. Australia time. In Curaçao, that will be Tuesday, March 31, with kickoff at 5:10 a.m. Curaçao time.

After the FIFA Series, Curaçao’s next confirmed friendly will come against Scotland on Saturday, May 30 at Barclays Hampden in Glasgow, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. local time. In Curaçao, the match will be played on Saturday, May 30, starting at 8 a.m. Curaçao time.
