WILLEMSTAD — Curaçao Professional Baseball has officially confirmed its 2026 season after making key adjustments to the league’s competition format and calendar, the organization announced in a press release.
The CPB 2026 season will be played in a shortened, high-intensity format from Jan. 31 to Feb. 3, 2026, bringing professional baseball back to Curaçao with top local and international talent.
Three franchises will take part: the Willemstad Cannons, Curaçao Goats and Curaçao Suns. Each team will host its official player draft on Jan. 21, 2026.
Player registration remains open for local and international players who want to be part of CPB 2026 and compete at the highest professional level on the island.
The CPB 2026 champion will earn the right to represent Curaçao at the Serie de las Américas 2026, scheduled for Feb. 5-13, 2026, in Venezuela.
All CPB 2026 games will be played at Tio Daou Ballpark, creating a centralized game-day experience for players, fans and partners.
CPB said more information on registration, draft procedures and the official game schedule will be shared in the coming days.
