WILLEMSTAD (DA) — Deveron Fonville and Godfried Roemeratoe are back in Curaçao’s squad for the CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinal against Panama, while Jürgen Locadia is unavailable for the November window.
Coach Dick Advocaat’s 23-player selection, announced Friday by the Curaçao Football Federation (FFK), also brings back Roshon van Eijma. The defender withdrew injured from the previous call-up and was replaced by Kyano Penso.
Penso and Tyrese Noslin are omitted this time. Together with Locadia’s absence, those departures account for the three changes from the updated squad selected for the September–October Nations League window.
Curaçao will host Panama on Thursday, Nov. 12, before traveling to Panama City for the return leg Sunday, Nov. 15. The teams will compete for a place in the Final Four and a Gold Cup berth.
Advocaat retained goalkeepers Tyrick Bodak, Eloy Room and Kiyani Zeggen.
The defenders are Joshua Brenet, Jurich Carolina, Van Eijma, Sherel Floranus, Fonville, Juriën Gaari, Armando Obispo and Shurandy Sambo.
Jeremy Antonisse, Juninho Bacuna, Leandro Bacuna, Livano Comenencia, Roemeratoe and Nicky Souren form the midfield group.
The forwards are Tahith Chong, Kenji Gorré, Jearl Margaritha, Ar’Jany Martha, Jordi Paulina and Nigel Thomas.
