Minor discomfort limits Armando Obispo’s role in PSV win at Porto

PORTO (DA) — Armando Obispo’s limited playing time in PSV’s 1-0 Champions League victory at FC Porto on Tuesday followed a precautionary decision by coach Peter Bosz over minor physical discomfort.

Obispo began on the bench and entered in the 74th minute after Yarek Gasiorowski started on the left side of central defense.

“Obi had some minor discomfort, and we don’t want to take any risks with him,” Bosz said before kickoff.

The coach expressed confidence in Gasiorowski, saying the defender had already demonstrated he could perform in that position. Bosz also praised Obispo’s performances and welcomed having both players as options for the role.
