ZWOLLE (DA) — Curaçao international Sherel Floranus was forced off with an injury in the 24th minute Sunday as PEC Zwolle came from behind to beat Go Ahead Eagles 4-1 in the Eredivisie.
PEC Zwolle confirmed that Damian van der Haar replaced Floranus, with the home team trailing 1-0.
Floranus had lost his footing during the move that produced the opening goal, allowing Victor Edvardsen to break through. Goalkeeper Jasper Schendelaar stopped the initial attempt, but Stefan Sigurdarson scored from the rebound to put Go Ahead Eagles ahead.
PEC Zwolle next visits FC Utrecht at Stadion Galgenwaard on Saturday, Oct. 24.
