ATHENS (DA) — Curaçao defender Roshon van Eijma has returned to Kifisia’s squad for Sunday’s Greek Super League match against Panetolikos, according to the club.
The match will be played Oct. 11 at Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium in Athens, with kickoff at 5 p.m. local time.
His inclusion makes him an option for coach Sebastián Leto but does not guarantee a starting role or playing time.
The calf discomfort was reported Sept. 9 and kept him out of Kifisia’s squad for its Sept. 10 match against Panathinaikos.
As previously reported by Deporte Awe, the injury also forced van Eijma to withdraw from Curaçao’s squad for its September and October CONCACAF Nations League matches. Jong PSV player Kyano Penso replaced him.
