HANOI (DA) — Curaçao international Kevin Felida has completed a move from FC Den Bosch to Hanoi FC, stepping from the Dutch second tier into Vietnam’s top flight.
The 26-year-old midfielder joins Hanoi FC, which competes in V.League 1, on a contract through the end of the season. FC Den Bosch plays in the Eerste Divisie, the second level of Dutch professional football.
Felida leaves Den Bosch despite having been under contract with the club until mid-2027. A transfer fee is involved in the deal, though the amount was not disclosed.
His departure ends a second spell with Den Bosch after 182 official appearances for the club. Felida came through its youth system and made his professional debut at age 18 on Dec. 1, 2017, in a 3-0 victory over Go Ahead Eagles.
He made 138 appearances during his first stint before moving to RKC Waalwijk in 2022. RKC was competing in the Eredivisie, the Netherlands’ top division, at the time of the move.
Felida returned to second-tier Den Bosch in the summer of 2025 and played another 44 official matches.
His final appearance before the transfer came Sept. 18 against Helmond Sport. Felida captained Den Bosch in a 2-1 home victory.
FC Den Bosch technical manager Jesper Gudde said Felida had indicated during the summer that he wanted to take the next step in his career. Although losing a regular starter after the Dutch transfer window had closed was not ideal for the club, Den Bosch agreed to the move when the opportunity in Vietnam emerged.
Hanoi FC formally welcomed Felida after completing the transfer, adding the Curaçao midfielder to its squad for the remainder of the season.
