COUVA (DA) — Trinidad and Tobago has named its squad for the September-October CONCACAF Nations League window, including back-to-back matches against the Curaçao men’s national team on Oct. 1 in Willemstad and Oct. 4 in Trinidad and Tobago.
Coach Derek King initially selected 25 players, but Roald Mitchell and Nathaniel James have since been ruled out of the entire window. The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association said Mitchell suffered a serious injury requiring surgery, while James will be sidelined for at least one month.
Trinidad and Tobago also faces Haiti on Sept. 24 and the Dominican Republic on Sept. 27 before the two matches against Curaçao.
