Kyano Penso called up as injury rules out Roshon van Eijma

WILLEMSTAD (DA) — Kyano Penso will join the Curaçao men’s national football team for its upcoming CONCACAF Nations League matches, replacing the injured Roshon van Eijma.

The Jong PSV player was part of Curaçao’s under-20 team that played on the island in March. His selection changes the squad previously announced by coach Dick Advocaat.

Van Eijma will miss the upcoming matches because of the injury.

Curaçao begins away against Costa Rica on Sept. 24 before hosting Nicaragua on Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. and Trinidad and Tobago on Oct. 1 at 6 p.m. Both home matches will be played at Stadion Ergilio Hato.

The team will then face Trinidad and Tobago away to complete the series.

Tickets are available online for Curaçao vs. Nicaragua and Curaçao vs. Trinidad and Tobago, with separate prices and entrances for the different stadium sections.
