Tyrick Bodak signs one-year contract with Vitesse

ARNHEM (DA) — Curaçao goalkeeper Tyrick Bodak has signed a one-year contract with Vitesse, the Dutch club announced Tuesday.

The 24-year-old will compete with first-choice goalkeeper Connor van den Berg and Germany’s Maximilian Brüll for playing time.

Bodak had trained with Rüdiger Rehm’s squad in recent weeks before earning a contract with the Arnhem club.

The goalkeeper spent parts of his youth career with De Graafschap and PSV before playing for Jong PSV, SC Cambuur and Telstar. He helped Telstar earn promotion to the Eredivisie during the 2024-25 season.

Bodak was also Curaçao’s third-choice goalkeeper at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

His arrival will see 20-year-old Jayden Siecker return to Vitesse’s reserve team. Siecker will continue training with the first team, with goalkeeper coach Rein Baart preferring to work with four goalkeepers during training sessions.
