Jan Peter Dogge resigns as FFK secretary-general, will leave Oct. 31

WILLEMSTAD (DA) — Jan Peter Dogge has resigned as secretary-general of the Curaçao Football Federation (FFK) and will leave the organization when his contract ends Oct. 31, the federation announced.

Dogge, who began serving as secretary-general in September 2025, cited personal reasons for his decision. He will continue working full time until his departure, focusing on transferring his responsibilities, maintaining ongoing operations and helping prepare and execute the FFK’s General Assembly in August.

“It was a privilege to be part of such a special period for the FFK,” Dogge said. “For personal reasons, I have made the decision to leave the FFK. I look back with pride on the results we achieved together, both on and off the field, alongside everyone who contributed.”

Interim FFK President Fabi Constansia thanked Dogge for his service to the federation.

“On behalf of the FFK board, I want to thank Jan Peter Dogge for his dedication, commitment and contribution to our organization,” Constansia said. “We are very grateful for his work during the past year and wish him great success in his next professional challenge.”

The FFK said it will soon begin the process of appointing a new secretary-general. The board has also taken steps to ensure the continuity of the federation’s daily operations, competitions and national and international obligations.

The federation said it will not provide further comment on individual personnel matters out of respect for the privacy of its employees.
