GAZIANTEP (DA) — Juninho Bacuna’s future at Gaziantep FK remains uncertain, with the Curaçao international not part of the club’s plans for the new season, according to sources.
Bacuna, who still has one year remaining on his contract with Gaziantep Futbol Kulübü, joined the club last season with high expectations before being sent on loan to Volendam.
The midfielder has returned from his loan spell, but it remains unclear whether he will wear the Gaziantep FK shirt again. If a suitable offer arrives, the club is expected to consider moving him.
Sources also indicate Bacuna wants to leave, adding another layer of uncertainty around his situation.
Bacuna is expected to join Gaziantep FK’s preseason preparations late after receiving special permission from the technical staff. The club is set to begin work for the new season July 7.
Bacuna featured with Curaçao at the World Cup and was unable to take time off, which led to the delayed return.
