Ademar Rifaela joins San Marino Baseball for second half of 2026 season

SAN MARINO (DA) — Ademar Rifaela has joined San Marino Baseball as a reinforcement for the second half of the 2026 season.

Rifaela, a left-handed hitting outfielder from Willemstad, Curaçao, arrives after spending the most recent part of the season with Líderes de Miranda in Venezuela, where he hit .304 with 6 home runs.

The 1994-born outfielder began his professional career in the Baltimore Orioles organization, playing from Single-A to High-A with the Delmarva Shorebirds, Aberdeen IronBirds and Frederick Keys. He reached Double-A with the Bowie Baysox in 2018 and Triple-A with the Norfolk Tides in 2019.

Rifaela has also been a key player for the Netherlands national team, winning the European championship in 2019 and bronze in 2023.

His career has included winter league stints in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, along with stops in Mexico between 2023 and 2024 with Guerreros de Oaxaca, Generales de Durango and Bravos de León.

San Marino Baseball is adding Rifaela for the second part of the season as it strengthens its lineup.
