MIAMI (DA) — The Miami Marlins have signed Curaçao right-hander Jaydenn Estanista to a minor league contract and assigned him to High-A Beloit.
Estanista, a 24-year-old pitcher from Willemstad, joins the Beloit Sky Carp after being released from the Philadelphia Phillies organization in May.
The right-hander was originally signed by the Phillies in 2021. He has a career 4.64 ERA in Minor League Baseball, with 220 strikeouts and 127 walks over 192 innings.
Estanista has appeared in 114 career minor league games, including 13 starts. He also has 10 saves, an 11-4 record and a 1.40 WHIP.
His 2026 season has been difficult so far. Estanista has a 1-1 record with an 18.47 ERA in 7 games, all in relief. He has worked 6.1 innings, with 4 strikeouts and a 2.84 WHIP.
Beloit is the High-A affiliate of the Marlins. The move gives Estanista a new opportunity in the Miami system after his time with the Phillies organization.
