ZEIST (DA) — Jorrel Hato, brothers Jurriën and Quinten Timber, and Justin Kluivert have been named to the Netherlands’ 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Netherlands coach Ronald Koeman included Hato of Chelsea, Jurriën Timber of Arsenal, Quinten Timber of Olympique de Marseille and Kluivert of Bournemouth in the group announced Wednesday in Zeist.
The quartet joins a squad led by Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk, Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, Manchester City defender Nathan Aké and Corinthians forward Memphis Depay.

The Royal Dutch Football Association said the final 26-player list, including at least three goalkeepers, must be submitted to FIFA by Monday, June 1.
A player in the final squad may be replaced because of serious injury or illness until 24 hours before the Netherlands’ opening group-stage match, provided the replacement was included on the preliminary World Cup list and receives approval from FIFA’s medical committee.
The Netherlands will begin its official World Cup preparation Saturday, May 30, when players and staff report in Zeist.
Koeman’s team will play two warm-up matches before the tournament, facing Algeria on Wednesday, June 3, at Stadion Feijenoord in Rotterdam before meeting fellow World Cup participant Uzbekistan on Wednesday, June 8, at Icahn Stadium in New York.
The Netherlands is scheduled to travel to its team base camp in Kansas City the following day.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup begins Thursday, June 11, in Mexico City with host nation Mexico facing South Africa. The final is scheduled for Sunday, July 19, in New York.
