MIAMI (DA) — Curaçao will host Panama at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at Stadion Ergilio Hato in Willemstad to open their CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinal series, with places in the finals and the 2027 Gold Cup at stake.
CONCACAF confirmed the venues and kickoff times Friday. The return match is scheduled for 6 p.m. local time Sunday, Nov. 15, at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City.
Curaçao reached its first Nations League quarterfinals as the best group winner in League A. Panama, one of four teams seeded directly into the quarterfinals, will host the second leg as the higher-ranked team.
The winner on aggregate will qualify for both the Nations League finals, scheduled for March 25-28 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, and next summer’s Gold Cup. The losing team will enter the Gold Cup preliminaries.
Away goals will decide the series if the aggregate score is tied after both matches. If the teams remain level, extra time and, if necessary, a penalty shootout will determine the winner.
The other quarterfinals pair Canada with Guatemala, the United States with Haiti and Mexico with Jamaica.
