WILLEMSTAD (DA) — SV Victory Boys completed an unbeaten season to capture the 2025/26 Curaçao Football Federation (FFK) Women’s Championship, closing its title run with a 2-0 victory in the final.
Kaylin Sprok opened the scoring before Kadisha Martina added the second goal for the Santa Rosa club, which finished the competition without a defeat.
The championship comes as Victory Boys expands its investment in women’s football, with the club seeking to provide its men’s and women’s programs comparable access to coaching, training and facilities.
“Women’s football has earned a permanent place in the global game. In Curaçao, we also have a lot of talent. By combining that talent with good guidance, international collaboration and the direction Victory Boys is taking, we want to offer players new opportunities. At the same time, as a club we want to continue playing an important role in women’s football in Curaçao and the region,” club president Hassnah Elhage said.
Victory Boys is also adding U15 and U17 girls teams as part of a broader development structure designed to create a pathway from youth football into its senior women’s side.
The club said players will also be encouraged to explore other roles within the sport, including coaching, team management, refereeing, administration and technical or organizational positions, as part of its “Her Story Matters” initiative.
International exposure is another part of the program. Victory Boys said it is in discussions over two opportunities abroad, including participation in a tournament in Spain and a separate program in Italy. Additional details are expected to be announced later.
The club plans to make international matches, tournaments and partnerships a regular part of its women’s development program, with an emphasis on preparation and experience before players take the next step in their careers.
With the FFK championship secured, Victory Boys will next turn its attention to Kopa Kòrsou, where both its women’s and men’s teams are preparing to compete for another trophy.
