MIAMI (DA) — Curaçao will open its 2026-27 CONCACAF Nations League campaign on the road against Costa Rica on Sept. 24 as part of a four-match schedule during the September-October FIFA international window.
The Blue Wave will then host Nicaragua on Sept. 28 and Trinidad and Tobago on Oct. 2 before concluding the League A group stage with an away match against Trinidad and Tobago on Oct. 6.
Venues and kickoff times will be announced later.
Curaçao was drawn into Group A alongside Costa Rica, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The six teams will compete under a Swiss-style format, with each country playing four matches — two at home and two away.
Curaçao’s complete group-stage schedule:
Sept. 24: at Costa Rica
Sept. 28: vs. Nicaragua
Oct. 2: vs. Trinidad and Tobago
Oct. 6: at Trinidad and Tobago
The top two teams in Group A will advance to the quarterfinals, where they will join Mexico, the United States, Canada and Panama. The four pre-seeded nations received direct entry based on the CONCACAF rankings.
The quarterfinals will be played as home-and-away series in November, with the four aggregate winners advancing to the CONCACAF Nations League Finals at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in March 2027.
The 2026-27 Nations League will also serve as a qualification pathway for the 2027 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
