EINDHOVEN (DA) — PSV Eindhoven has Curaçao international Deveron Fonville among several defensive players under consideration, according to sources.
The information points to preliminary interest rather than an advanced pursuit. No negotiations, formal offer or agreement involving PSV and NEC Nijmegen have been confirmed.
Fonville is a left-footed defender who primarily operates at center back but can also play at left back or wing back. The 23-year-old previously spent time in PSV’s academy before continuing his development elsewhere.
He joined NEC in 2025 and remains under contract with the Nijmegen club through June 2029.
Neither PSV nor NEC has publicly commented on the reported interest. At this stage, there is no indication that a transfer is close.
