WILLEMSTAD (DA) — Curaçao international Roshon van Eijma is in the final stages of negotiations to join Fortuna Sittard, according to sources.
The 28-year-old central defender is without a club and can join the Eredivisie side on a free transfer.
Fortuna has held serious talks with Van Eijma, and the parties have reached an agreement in principle, sources said. The move is now pending a medical examination and the completion of the remaining formalities.
An official presentation is expected once those steps have been completed.
Van Eijma most recently played for RKC Waalwijk and was part of the Curaçao squad that competed at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States.
