BARNSLEY (DA) — Curaçao international Tyrese Noslin has joined Barnsley FC from Dutch club Telstar, signing a three-year contract with an option for an additional season.
Barnsley officially described the transfer fee as undisclosed. According to sources with knowledge of the agreement, the fee is in the region of €300,000 (£260,000).
The transfer remains subject to English Football League and international clearance.
The 23-year-old fullback leaves Telstar despite having a contract with the Dutch club through the summer of 2027. He will now continue his career in League One, the third tier of English football.
“We’re delighted to bring Tyrese to Barnsley Football Club,” head coach Daniel Stendel said. “He’s a player we’ve watched closely and one who fits exactly what we’re looking for.”
Stendel highlighted Noslin’s experience in Dutch football, consistent performances and mentality. He described the defender as ambitious and eager to continue improving.
“We’re excited to work with him, help him continue his development and we’re confident that the Barnsley supporters will enjoy watching him play,” Stendel said.
Noslin becomes another Curaçao international moving to English football as Barnsley prepares for the upcoming season.
