WILLEMSTAD (DA) — Curaçao’s three FIFA World Cup 2026 group-stage venues will have a combined confirmed capacity of 206,146 seats, FIFA announced as it finalized stadium capacities for all 16 tournament venues.
Houston Stadium, where Curaçao will face Germany, has a confirmed capacity of 68,777. Kansas City Stadium, where the Blue Wave will meet Ecuador, has a capacity of 69,045. Philadelphia Stadium, where Curaçao will play Ivory Coast, has a capacity of 68,324.
The three venues form the U.S. path for Curaçao’s historic first World Cup appearance.
FIFA confirmed the final capacities with one day remaining before the tournament opens across Canada, Mexico and the United States. The 2026 World Cup will be the first edition with 48 teams and is expected to surpass the tournament attendance record of 3.5 million set at the 1994 World Cup.
Mexico City Stadium will have the largest confirmed capacity at 80,824, followed by New York New Jersey Stadium at 80,663. Dallas Stadium will hold 70,649, Los Angeles Stadium 70,492 and San Francisco Bay Area Stadium 68,827.
For Curaçao, the confirmed numbers place all three group matches in stadiums above 68,000 seats. The Blue Wave’s World Cup run will move from Houston to Kansas City and then to Philadelphia as the country steps onto the tournament’s biggest stage for the first time.
