CHIHUAHUA (DA) — Jonathan Schoop has been placed on the 15-day injured list by Dorados de Chihuahua, with the move retroactive to April 29.
Schoop, a right-handed infielder from Willemstad, Curaçao, appeared in games on April 28 and April 29 before the move.
He went 1-for-1 with a run scored on April 29. A day earlier, Schoop went 1-for-4 with a home run, four RBIs and a run scored.
Through the listed 2026 season totals with Dorados, Schoop has 10 hits in 41 at-bats, with nine runs, two home runs, six RBIs, four walks and eight strikeouts. He is batting .244 with a .333 on-base percentage and a .748 OPS.
The transaction adds a pause to Schoop’s season in Mexico’s LMB after his strongest listed game came April 28, when he drove in four runs with his second home run of the season.
