WILLEMSTAD (DA) — Liga Pariba captured the 2026 Little League Baseball Curaçao Region Tournament title with a 5-2 win over Little League Pabou 2026 on Saturday in the final game of the best-of-seven series at Post 6 Little League Stadium.
Liga Pariba fell behind 2-0 in the top of the first inning, then answered immediately with three runs in the bottom half and added two more in the third to take control.
Both teams finished with six hits, but Liga Pariba made the most of its chances and closed out the game over six innings. Giëndry Ryan earned the win in relief after working 2 2/3 scoreless innings, while Jordan Richards started and allowed two runs over 3 1/3 innings.
Liga Pariba’s offense got run production from Jaymiëll Martina, Raymiel Antonia, Ruendrickson Leuteria, Shardijon De Lanoi and Richards. Ryan, Antonia, Leuteria and Nathanael Jansen each had hits, with Leuteria, Antonia and De Lanoi contributing doubles.
Little League Pabou 2026 got one RBI from Devon Bonafasia and collected doubles from Dvyaino Hernandez and Raygen Raphaela. T’ Sheandrick Fraay took the loss, allowing five runs over four innings while striking out four.
The title sends Curaçao’s champion directly to the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series, presented by T-Mobile, after Little League International announced that Curaçao and Panama would receive direct entries from the Latin America region.
“As we continue to prepare for the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series, especially surrounding the international travel logistics for our teams, we are excited to welcome the Little League Champions from Panama and Curaçao with direct entries from our Latin America Region to the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series,” Little League President and CEO Patrick Wilson said.
Little League International said Curaçao has made 15 Little League Baseball World Series appearances since 1980, with four runner-up finishes and a championship in 2004.
The 2026 Little League Baseball World Series is scheduled for Aug. 19-30.
