Last chance for fans to buy World Cup 2026 tickets

WILLEMSTAD (DA) — The final ticket sales phase for the 2026 FIFA World Cup opens Tuesday, giving fans one last chance to secure seats for what the Curaçao Football Federation (FFK) described as a historic moment for the national team.

FIFA will open its last-minute sales phase on April 1 at 11 a.m. ET, with tickets made available on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last, according to an FFK press release. The sales phase will remain open through the end of the tournament, but availability will be limited.

Fans will be able to check which matches still have tickets available, choose their seats through the stadium map or use the “Book the best seat” option. After payment, confirmation will be issued immediately.

Supporters who already bought tickets earlier will be able to view their seats in their FIFA accounts starting April 1, FFK said.

FFK urged fans to keep checking the ticket platform regularly, noting that tickets may become available again even on matchday. The official resale and exchange platform is also set to open on April 2, allowing fans to buy or sell tickets through FIFA’s system.

FFK said global demand for World Cup tickets has reached historic levels, with more than 500 million applications submitted and nearly 1 million tickets already sold. With fewer than 80 days to go, the 2026 tournament is on pace for record attendance.
