MIAMI (DA) — Curaçao U20 international Jerremy Ortela has been included on Inter Miami CF II’s initial roster for the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season.
Inter Miami CF II unveiled a 37-player squad ahead of the new campaign, with the 18-year-old Ortela listed among the defenders. He is part of the group of academy players on amateur contracts to begin the season.
Ortela appears on the roster as No. 87. His inclusion puts a Curaçao player in the setup for Inter Miami’s reserve side as the club enters its seventh competitive season and fifth in MLS NEXT Pro.
The team said the roster features 17 professionally signed players and a large academy contingent, underlining its emphasis on internal development. Inter Miami also noted that 35 of the 37 players on the roster have progressed through the club’s academy.
The roster does not include first-team players who are eligible to be loaned to the MLS NEXT Pro squad.
