ZURICH (DA) — FC Zürich says defender Livano Comenencia will be sidelined for approximately four weeks because of a thigh injury.
Comenencia, who is also part of the Curaçao national team, had to be substituted due to injury shortly before halftime in the club’s home match against FC Luzern, the club said, adding that medical examinations confirmed the expected layoff.
Comenencia played 44 minutes at left back, completing six of seven passes and going 3 for 3 on dribbles. He had 19 touches, won four of four ground duels, and finished with one tackle and two recoveries.
“We wish Livano Comenencia a speedy and full recovery,” the club said.
