VICTORIA (DA) — North Geelong Warriors announced the signing of Gevaro Nepomuceno for the 2026 season, a move framed as a “statement” addition.
Nepomuceno brings a long club résumé, including more than 300 appearances in England and 52 matches for Curaçao, as stated in the announcement.
With Curaçao, the winger’s international timeline stretches back to 2014, when he was first called into the senior squad and scored early in his national-team run during Caribbean Cup qualifying. He is credited with 43 FIFA-recognized appearances and five goals, plus nine non-FIFA matches and three goals — figures that align with the 52-cap total cited in the signing details.
The year before joining North Geelong, Nepomuceno was with Bentleigh Greens SC in NPL Victoria, and he arrived at the Warriors from Bentleigh Greens.
His last active season was in 2024 with Bentleigh Greens, where he played 26 games and scored three goals.
His recent Australia stretch also includes a stint at Melbourne Knights FC, who announced his addition ahead of their 2023 season.
