NORTH PORT (DA) — Today is the official report day for position players, and everyone is in camp except Jurickson Profar, who still has to arrive at some point today.
The first full-team workout is scheduled for tomorrow.
Braves manager Walt Weiss said Friday he likes the flexibility the designated hitter spot can provide, but he expects Profar to fill that role often early in the season.
Profar hit .245 with 14 home runs, 43 RBIs and a .787 OPS in 80 games with Atlanta last season.
