ANAHEIM (DA) — The Los Angeles Angels named their 2026 Player Development staff, assigning Curaçao’s Hainley Statia as ACL Angels manager after winning the ACL Championship in 2025.
The Angels also named Héctor De La Cruz as DSL Angels manager, Dave Stapleton as the manager in Rancho Cucamonga, Dann Bilardello as the manager in Tri-City, Joe Kruzel as the manager in Rocket City, and Doug Davis as Salt Lake’s manager.
De La Cruz takes over the DSL club after leading it to three straight playoff berths.
Stapleton moves into the Rancho Cucamonga job after reaching the Cal League finals last season and reaching the playoffs in three out of the last four years.
Bilardello returns to manage in Tri-City.
Kruzel takes over in Rocket City after serving as Field Coordinator with the Halos.
Davis returns to the Angels as Salt Lake’s manager after the club drafted him in 1984.
The Angels listed coaching and support staffs for each affiliate, including Salt Lake Bees (AAA), Rocket City Trash Pandas (AA), Tri-City Dust Devils (High-A), Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (Low-A), ACL Angels (R), and DSL Angels (R).
Joey Prebynski will serve as assistant GM, player development. Tony Ferreira will serve as assistant director, player development, and Luis Barranco will serve as coordinator, player development.
The Player Development group also includes field coordinators Sean Kazmar and Erick Salcedo, plus special assistants to the general manager Chris Carpenter, Eddie Guardado, and Torii Hunter.
