WILLEMSTAD (DA) — Curaçao Professional Baseball (CPB) has released the 2026 team rosters for the Curaçao Goats, Curaçao Suns and Willemstad Cannons ahead of a condensed, high-intensity season set for Jan. 31 through Feb. 3 at Tio Daou Ballpark.
The schedule lists four nights of action, all starting at 8 p.m. The Goats open against the Suns on Jan. 31, the Suns face the Cannons on Feb. 1, the Goats meet the Cannons on Feb. 2, and the season wraps with finals on Feb. 3.
The Goats arrive as the defending champions and bring back a roster built around pitching and infield depth. Their arms include Franklin van Gurp, Cerilio Soliana, Nestor Molina, Klevert Martina, Alvaro Sejias, Ruchano Petronia, Djenior Mogen and Rubyrone Manuel. The position group features Darren Seferina, Gedionne Marlin, Kevin Josephina, Lennard Pietersz and Quinsly Balentien, with Rayshandell Michel listed in the outfield. Darwin Gregg Jr., Julian Hunt and Rayjackson Chirino give the Goats multiple utility options, and Dabertson Balentien is listed at catcher.
The Suns’ roster is headlined by a veteran-heavy core, including Didi Gregorius and Andrelton Simmons on the infield list, with Shairon Martis anchoring a pitching group that also includes Randy Beriguete, Gedryone Basilia, Tahj Cunningham, Yency Jesus, Farid Cijntje and Angelo Palumbo. The Suns’ outfield group includes Coco Balentien, Karim Ayoubi, Ericson Leonora and Jackey Jospeha. Shendrion Martinus and Dudley Leonora are listed among the infielders, Swindly Lint is listed as a utility player, and the catching group includes Neljuk Castelano and Stephan Vidal.
The Cannons counter with a roster that leans on infield strength and a deep set of arms. Their pitchers include Angel Vilchez, Bruno Giacalone, Temesh Lourens, Sebastian Russo and Jordan Lucas. The position group features Sergio Campana, Raypatrick Didder and Arjun Huerta in the outfield, while the infield list includes Shervyen Newton, Juremi Profar, Jonathan Schoop, Raywendley van Gurp and Riordan Windster. Donovan Anthonia, Delanno Selassa and Marlison Brunken are listed as utility players, with Hendrick Clementina and Yurdion Martie at catcher.
According to CPB, the league’s champion will earn the right to represent Curaçao at the Serie de las Américas 2026 in Venezuela, scheduled for Feb. 5-13 — making every night in this short season count even more.
