WILLEMSTAD (DA) — Curaçao’s men’s national soccer team now has confirmed dates, venues and kickoff times for key friendly matches this year as preparations continue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, according to Kees Jansma, press officer for the Curaçao national team.
Curaçao will open its spring schedule in the March FIFA Series in Australia, where it is set to face China and Australia, Jansma confirmed.

Curaçao will play China on Friday, March 27 at Accor Stadium in Sydney, with kickoff set for 5 p.m. Australia time. In Curaçao, the match will also be played on Friday, March 27, starting at 2 a.m. Curaçao time.
The second FIFA Series match will be Australia vs. Curaçao on Tuesday, March 31 at AAMI Park in Melbourne, with kickoff scheduled for 8:10 p.m. Australia time. In Curaçao, that will be Tuesday, March 31, with kickoff at 5:10 a.m. Curaçao time.
After the FIFA Series, Curaçao’s next confirmed friendly will come against Scotland on Saturday, May 30, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. local time at Barclays Hampden in Glasgow, Jansma said. In Curaçao, the match will be played on Saturday, May 30, starting at 8 a.m. Curaçao time.
The Scotland update provides official confirmation after earlier reporting indicated the matchup was under discussion but had not yet been confirmed publicly.
Jansma also said Curaçao is still working to finalize one additional friendly that has yet to be announced.
Separately, Curaçao has been linked to other possible options for that remaining match, with Cape Verde still being considered for De Kuip in Rotterdam, and Turkey also now mentioned for a potential friendly in Miami. That information was not provided by Jansma and has not been confirmed.
