IGDIR, Turkey (DA) — Igdir Futbol Kulubu, known as Alagoz Holding Igdir Futbol Kulubu for sponsorship reasons, announced the signing of Leandro Bacuna, welcoming the veteran midfielder in a social media post.
Bacuna, 34, joins Igdir after playing last season with Bandirmaspor. The club confirmed the agreement but did not disclose financial terms.
During the 2025-26 season, Bacuna made 19 league appearances, scoring six goals and adding two assists in the TFF 1. Lig, currently referred to as the Trendyol 1. Lig for sponsorship purposes, while logging 1,705 minutes of playing time.
Primarily a central midfielder, Bacuna brings extensive professional experience and has been a long-time international for Curacao, with 66 caps and 16 goals for the national team.
The club welcomed Bacuna to its green-and-white colors and wished him success with Igdir through the remainder of the season and beyond.
