The broadcast rollout says pool play is scheduled to begin with Pool C in Tokyo on March 4 (ET), and Pool D begins March 6.

For the Netherlands, the published Pool D schedule lists:

Friday, March 6: Netherlands vs. Venezuela — 12:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. Curaçao.

Saturday, March 7: Nicaragua vs. Netherlands — 12:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. Curaçao.

U.S. broadcast listings show the Netherlands’ first two games streaming on Tubi, its March 8 matchup airing on FOX, and its March 10 finale streaming on the FOX Sports app; the schedule also lists FOX Deportes for the March 8 and March 10 games.

Curaçao time note: Curaçao observes Atlantic Standard Time (UTC-4) year-round, and U.S. daylight saving time begins March 8, 2026—making Curaçao one hour ahead of ET on March 6–7, then aligned with ET on March 8 and after.

On the roster side, WBCI announced final rosters submitted by the 20 participating federations before the Feb. 3 deadline, with rosters unveiled on MLB Network. Each roster can include up to 30 active players, with at least 14 pitchers and two catchers.

The Netherlands list includes right-hander Shairon Martis for what is expected to be his fifth World Baseball Classic appearance, a mark slated to tie the tournament record. Martis threw the only no-hitter in tournament history during the inaugural 2006 event.

The Netherlands roster also includes infielders Xander Bogaerts and Sharlon Schoop and pitcher J.C. Sulbaran, who are all listed to play in their fourth career World Baseball Classic. Pitcher Jaitoine Kelly, 18, is one of seven players under age 20 scheduled to play in the 2026 tournament.

The Netherlands’ roster features major-league and professional experience across the diamond, including pitcher Kenley Jansen; infielders Bogaerts, Ozzie Albies, Didi Gregorius, Jurickson Profar and Schoop; catchers Chadwick Tromp and Hendrik Clementina; and outfielder Druw Jones.

The published schedule notes that WBCI reserves the right to adjust game dates and times.

Beyond pool play, the schedule lists quarterfinals March 13–14 split between Miami and Houston, followed by semifinals March 15–16 and the championship game March 17 in Miami.

The FOX Sports/WBCI release adds that the World Baseball Classic is sanctioned by the World Baseball Softball Confederation as the sport’s official national team world championship.
